The Project
Al-Khor Townhomes San Juan is the brainchild of Edith Alba Khorakiwala, a former banker and corporate executive who gave up the peripatetic life of a woman on the go to settle down in Mumbai and raise her young family. Even so, she always had this vision of doing something for the neighborhood where she and three generations of her clan grew up.
Mrs. Khorakiwala wanted to translate her childhood memories into a thriving community of modern families living in understated luxury at the heart of the bustling metropolis yet away from its noise and clutter.
Little did she know that not too far into the future, she would indeed build stylish homes in the very same area that she knows like the back of her hand.
It did not take much to convince her businessman-husband to invest in the project nearest to her heart and mind. Taizoon Fakhruddin Khorakiwala owns the Switz Group, a leading bakery conglomerate in the Middle East with 15 companies making up its business portfolio. It is based in the United Arab Emirates and keeps a conspicuous presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, and Sri Lanka, as well as business partnerships with Dawn Foods of the U.S. and Bauli of Italy. In the Philippines, the Switz Group maintains an egg pasteurization plant that supplies fresh eggs to major bakeshop chains in the country.
In 2012, the Khorakiwala couple entered the Philippine real estate industry as developers, naming their company Al-Khor Dynamic Builders, Inc. which would offer townhouses with gated security and bearing the mark of quality in construction compared to the big names in the field.

Who we are
Al-Khor Townhomes San Juan started with 17 townhouse units constructed at a choice neighborhood in the city of San Juan. Positive feedback from home buyers spurred the company to fast-track their objective to build high-quality homes within reach of the modern Filipino family.
They are designed by Architect Dino Padilla and Interior Designer Marja Corcuera of Diseno.
